DUTIES:
Oversee all aspects of the daily Laboratory operations as well as ocassionally performing responsiblilities of a bench medical technologist when necessary. Works as a key member of the ProHealth Care integrated Laboratory and Hospital managment team developing, implementing, and evaluating laboratory services. Will direct and coordinate the workflow of all Laboratory personnel (phlebotomy, support staff, and technical staff) in order to maintain excellent standards of performance and promote positive morale. Represents the laboratory at hospital and corporate meetings as appropriate. This position would also provide leadership to Laboratory personnel at the Oconomowoc Physician Center.
REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology/Clinical Lab Sciences or an Associate’s Degree as Medical Lab Technician. Registration by ASCP or NCLS required . 3 -5 years experience as a Medical Technologist/MLT. Progressive responisibilities in a leadership/supervisory role in a laboratory setting preferred.
This position is located at Oconomowoc Memorial Hospital located 25 minutes west of Milwaukee, WI.
