Central Pharmacy Coordinator
DUTIES: The Pharmacy Coordinator will play an integral role in the oversight and coordination of operational and clinical services provided by the staff in the hospital's central pharmacy. Their work will ensure coordination of services with the decentralized pharmacy, home infusion, Pyxis distribution, purchasing, and inventory control. They will work with staff to ensure services are in compliance with the philosophy, policies, procedures, goals and budget of the pharmacy department and hospital. There will be oversight responsibility of the Pharmacy Technician staff and the ability to serve as a staff pharmacist in a limited role. The Pharmacy Coordinator will work closely with the Manager of Pharmacy for Waukesha Memorial hospital as well as the Director of Pharmacy for ProHealth Care to provide leadership by building staff morale and cohesiveness, manage group processes, and lead the team toward accomplishment of established goals.
REQUIREMENTS: Seeking candidates with two plus years of experience in hospital pharmacy and experience in pharmacy management. Must be a graduate of an accredited school of pharmacy. Must hold a current license to practice pharmacy in Wisconsin. Pharm D degree and/or accredited clinical residency is preferred.
