DUTIES:
To provide coordinated assessment and referral services for patients, families and referral sources requesting behavioral health services.
REQUIREMENTS:
Psychiatric RN or Masters Degree in Counseling, Social Work, or Related Behavioral Sciences . Demonstrated experience in the field of mental health and chemical dependency treatment. State licensure/certification preferred. Displays a positive attitude about themselves, work and staff. Possesses excellent communication skills. Meets all necessary competencies within 6 months of hire.
RN must have psychiatric nursing experience. Other disciplines must have Substance Abuse Counselor Certification (SAC) or Substance Abuse Counselor Certification In-Training (SAC-IT) or obtain within 30 days of employment.
