The patient companion will observe the patient for changes in condition, de-escalate and divert undesirable behaviors and communicate, using the SBAR format, with other members of the health care team. This will be done in partnership with the patient and family, treating all with dignity, respect and compassion, and with the goal of creating an optimal healing environment.
Requirements: CPR Certification upon hire or within 30 days of hire. High School Diploma, or equivalent experience. 1-2 years of customer service. Health Care Experience.
